60% of state candidates pass the engineering service exam

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Nearly 60% of the candidates in the state sat the Engineering Department Examination, 2021, held on Sunday, even as the percentage of candidates passing the examination in Indore was about 78%. Similarly, about 78% of candidates passed the dental surgeon exam, 2022, in the state, while the percentage in Indore was over 80.
“The number of candidates taking the exam in Indore was better than in the state,” said Ravindra Panchbhai, Media Coordinator, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. The State Engineering Service Examination and Dental Surgeon Examination were held in a single session from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
The reviews were held in four cities including Indore, Bhopal, Gwalior and Jabalpur.
No less than 36,253 candidates had registered for the State Engineering Service examination which is to be held to fill 466 vacancies, including 427 civil engineer positions, 34 electrical engineer positions and 5 ‘mechanical engineer.
Regarding the dental surgeon examination, a total of 4,508 candidates had registered for the examination which will be held to fill 193 vacancies.
A total of 93 centers have been set up for the engineering service examination and 13 centers for the dental surgeon examination.
