After 2-year review, FDA bans JUUL

I first hit a Juul after practicing one day in my sophomore year. My immediate reaction was “That’s weak AF, why don’t I just do a lip”. Throughout high school, the Juul became more and more prevalent. It was 2015 and in high school bathrooms across America people were selling Juul hits for $5 a pop. Juul was a staple in high school through college, just like Apple products. It looked sleek plugged into a MacBook. The outer metal shell matched the aesthetics of the whole product. What I’m trying to say is that it looked like an Apple accessory, just like the AirPods.

Nicotine delivery was the quickest and most discreet way possible. No spitting, no smell, the ability to ghost the smoke if needed. It is probably the simplest drug delivery system ever. Inhaling is even easier than swallowing, just ask your mom. There were little green or red lights that went out in everyone’s pockets on college parties. The Juuls single-handedly brought the tobacco epidemic back to America. It’s funny, no one smoked their parents, all of our grandparents smoked, and now we’re all tapping on those robots for nicotine. I dived before Juul came out because all the good athletes I knew did. So I ended up getting addicted when I was trying to quit dunking it was a whole cycle where I ended up getting a lot more nicotine Juuling. I was packing like a dip a day, maybe 2. With that Juul, you were blowing it all the time.

At the time, I had even convinced Donny to Juul instead of smoking cigarettes.

The thing is, I now know people who leave the Juul while smoking cigarettes. It’s the craziest juxtaposition but it’s crazy. The Juul was so good at getting people nicotine that people had to find a way to ration it like cigarettes. You could hit the Juul doing anything. Work, eat, drink, read, blog. There was no stopping.

Should the Juul be banned? Yes, but he should never have been allowed to go to market. The evil was there from the start. I almost believe it was a method of population reduction. We won’t see the true impacts of the Juul until we’re grandparents. It will most likely be blood cancer due to the metals inside the cartridges. I don’t think lung cancer rates will be that high personally, it’s not as harsh as cigarette smoke. (I really tried not to make an editor’s note, but when Billy pretends to be a doctor, it makes me laugh because he’s 100% positive in everything he says.)

The only thing that is bad about the Juul ban is that other Ecigs will still be available. I think all those disposable vapes are even worse than Juul because at least Juul pods are made in America! These disposables are shipped overseas using manufacturing standards that we probably find hard to believe. You are probably inhaling serious contaminants.

For those who have had a serious Juul problem try a synthetic nicotine pouch. (No free ads) that’s what I do trying to curb the urge.
