Announcement of RRB Railway Group D exam date; Council issues important notice
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued an important notification informing students of the RRB Group D exam dates for various CPC Matrix positions from levels 1 to 7. The RRB informed that the board had made some changes to the exam. A first CBT stage (CBT 1) will be carried out in several phases from 23.02.2022. While the schedule and distribution of questions for CBT 1 will remain the same as mentioned in paragraph 14.1 of the CEN “Recruitment Process”,
Exam schedule for CBT 1 information about CBT 2
In view of the large number of applications received, the railways have decided to conduct computer-based two-step testing (CBT) in accordance with paragraph 3 of the Important Instructions: Examination Process (page 3)”, paragraph 1.9 of the “General CEN. Instructions” (page 4.5) and Para 14.1 of the CEN “Recruitment Process” (page 18.19). CBT 1) will start on February 23, 2022, in accordance with paragraph 14.1 of CEN No. RRC-01/2019 in several phases, subject to the conditions in force and government directives are issued from time to time in order to manage COVID -19 pandemic. The syllabus and distribution of questions for CBT 1 will remain the same as mentioned in paragraph 14.1 of the CEN “Recruitment Process”. RRB Group D Recruitment: Admission Card | Calculation of grades
- The Railway Recruitment Board is likely to release the admission card for CBT 1 four days before the exam, i.e. February 20, 2022.
- The Council has also published the formula for calculating standardized scores for multi-session documents. Due to the different levels of difficulty of the exam, the marks of the candidates will be calculated based on the formula indicated in the official invitation.
DV of the RRB group and selection of candidates
In accordance with the new changes, based on the performance of candidates in CBT 2 and subject to their qualification in PET, the number of candidates to be called for Document Verification (DV) will now be equal to the number of vacancies notified (c’ i.e., in the ratio of 1:1). Previously it was 1.05 times.
