The KC Chiefs now hold the AFC No.1 seed on their own after an exciting weekend where things are going well for Andy Reid’s side.

Kansas City beat the Chargers in overtime on the road to 10-4 on Thursday to move within striking distance of the first seed. Then the Indianapolis Colts went about business on Saturday night and beat the New England Patriots, knocking them down to second. Finally, the Pittsburgh Steelers outscored the late Tennessee Titans, who held the tiebreaker against the Chiefs, to 9-5, falling below Kansas City in the standings.

All the dominoes fell just for Kansas City who, for most of us, believed that at some point they could only end up as a Wild Card at best. At least I think you’d be laughing at yourself if you didn’t say there was a little bit of doubt at some point that the Chiefs would win the division let alone lead the AFC.

That being said, the Chiefs hold the top spot again assuming they win the rest of the season. It’s easier said than done, but the schedule is certainly shaping up for the Chiefs.

Let’s take a closer look at their latest opponents to close out the regular season and how they stack up against each other.
