CSDN Recruitment 2022: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the position of Assistant Town Planner (ATP). Among the candidates willing to apply for the position of Assistant Town Planner in the Town Planning Department (TPD), the prescribed eligibility may apply as per the instructions explained in the Public Service Commission recruitment advertisement of Rajasthan for the position of assistant town planner in the town planning department.

Method of application: Applicants must apply with scanned signatures, most recent photographs, certificates and documents relating to education, experience, proof of address, etc., including fully admissible examination fees before or on 09.11.2022.

Selection process: The selection for the position of assistant town planner consists of 02 stages; i.e., Stage I: Computerized recruitment test for a maximum of 150 points for 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions for a total of 150 points and Stage II personal interview, giving the merit list final.

Mode of examination: Computerized Recruitment Examination Program

The Civil Service Commission of Rajasthan will organize a computer-based recruitment test with an examination duration of 2.5 hours (150 minutes) for the position of assistant town planner. The computer-based recruitment exam consists of 02 parts with a total of 150 (part A: 40 + part B: 110) objective type multiple choice questions for a total of 150 points with a negative rating @ ⅓ rd or (0.33) Score for each incorrect answer or multiple answers.

i) Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)/Architecture/Planning with Post Graduate Diploma in Town/Urban/Regional Planning/Traffic and Transport Planning; Or M.Tech. in Planning Or M.Plan. (Urban/Regional/Traffic and Transport/Environment) Or equivalent from any duly recognized university or institution.

Bachelor’s degree in Planning/Architecture from any duly recognized institute/university established by law in India with 02 years of work experience in the field of urban planning.

ii) Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture

Age limit (as of 01.01.2023): General merit candidates must be at least 20 years old and at most 40 years old. Easing the upper age limit for reserved community applicants as per government rule.

That emergency officers discharged and short-term officers after being discharged from the military will be deemed to be within the age limit even if they are over the age limit when appearing before the Commission if they had been eligible as such at the time of their entry into the army commission.

That the upper age limit for persons serving in the affairs of the Panchayat Committee and District Councils/Councils (Zila Parishad) and in State Public Sector Enterprises/Companies in effective capacity be 40 years .

Under the Rajasthan Civil Service (Absorption of Former Servicemen) Rules 1988, the relaxation of the upper age limit is 10 years for former servicemen;

Provided that in cases of direct recruitment where service experience is also essential at the lower post, an age relaxation equal to the period of required work experience of the lower post shall be granted to former servicemen in addition to the age relaxation already scheduled under these rules;

Provided that the permitted age after relaxation under this rule is over 50, an upper age limit of 50 will apply, but in the case of direct recruitment where the professional experience of a lower position is essential, the maximum upper age limit of 55 will apply.

iv) PwBDs/SCs/STs, whose annual income is less than Rs. 2.50 Lac: Rs. 150.00

v) SC/ST under Tribal Sub-Plan (TSP) Area inhabiting SC/ST and Sahariya Primitives under all Tehsils of Baran District: Rs. 150.00
