DAVV exam schedule for the 2021-22 session on anvil

After the admission window closed, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) began to finalize the exam schedule for the 2021-22 session in accordance with the requirements of the new education policy.

Usually, the academic session starts from July 1, but this year the Covid-19 crisis has delayed the session by two and a half months. The university is preparing a new exam schedule ensuring that the delay in starting the session does not significantly affect the exam schedule.

Semi-annual exams, which usually start the first week of December, would likely start the first or second week of December. In fact, the university is expected to hold many semester exams even in January.

A university official said that more than three Lakh students will take exams in the 2021-22 session.

“We have prepared a preliminary plan for the exams. From December we will start all exams for which the new education policy has not been implemented. In January, we will mainly organize the exams for the first semester of the PG courses. In courses that have an annual system, the final year exam will take place in the first week of March and the first year in May, ”said Professor Ashesh Tiwari, DAVV Exam Controller.

For the first time, the university will also have to prepare articles for 50 new subjects. These include topics such as minerals and rocks, MS Office, computer basics, nursery management, the Indian political system, beekeeping, unconventional energy resources, housekeeping and reception management, money and banking, etc. for these materials. In addition, 50 new vocational subjects have been added to the list of examinations as a new education policy.
