Giada De Laurentiis Gluten Free Skillet Brownies are “just as delicious and decadent as a regular brownie”
Looking for a delicious gluten-free brownie recipe that is just as chewy, melt-in-the-mouth and satisfying as regular brownies? Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis’ easy-to-make gluten-free pan brownie recipe works just fine.
Here’s how to make Food Network’s host gluten-free version on this classic snack. It may just taste better than the “real thing”.
De Laurentiis Gluten Free Skillet Brownies are a “win-win”
the Everyday italian Gluten-free star creation requires refined coconut oil, coconut sugar, vanilla extract, two eggs plus a yolk, blanched almond flour, baking powder, unsweetened cocoa powder and sweet and sour chocolate chips.
For this recipe, De Laurentiis uses an 8 inch nonstick ovenproof skillet.
On Chef Giadzy’s lifestyle and cooking blog, she said of her gluten-free creation: “This recipe is just as delicious and decadent as a regular brownie, but a little better for you because it doesn’t. uses no refined or all-purpose sugars. flour. Plus, almond flour adds even more delicious flavor and texture – it’s a win-win! “

Giada De Laurentiis proves that gluten-free doesn’t mean flavorless
De Laurentiis begins his pan brownies by combining in a medium bowl the melted coconut oil, coconut sugar, salt and vanilla extract. Also stir in the eggs and extra yolk, followed by the dry ingredients – almond flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Once all the ingredients are together, the chocolate chips can be folded up using a spatula.
The dough is transferred and rolled out in the pan. Scatter additional chocolate chips on top if you want even more chocolate flavor. Place the pan in a preheated 325 degree F oven for almost half an hour or “until the edges look dry and the center still looks slightly cooked.”
Once the brownies have cooled, they can be cut and served.
A review on Giadzy praised this non-traditional take on basic brownies: “Easy and the results are great. The batter turns out to be a bit thick to pour, so don’t worry. I used unrefined coconut oil because that’s all I had on hand and the results were great. The brownies taste like a Mounds candy bar. Served with whipped cream for a quick dessert.
De Laurentiis’ new Food Network show is dedicated to healthy and fresh food
