JNV Achieves Highest Passing Percentage in CBSE Class 10,12 Exams
New Delhi, July 23 (SocialNews.XYZ) Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), in the school category, achieved the highest passing percentage in the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 and 12 exams announced on Friday.
A total of 99.71% of students in NIDs passed the Class 10 exams. Independent Schools remained number two and Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) number three with a pass percentage of 96.86 and 96.61 respectively.
In 2021, 100% of KV students passed the class 10 board exam.
Overall, 80.68% of students in public schools passed Class 10, while 76.73% of students in government-subsidized schools passed the exam. The pass rate in public schools in Delhi is 81.27%.
Similarly, in CBSE 12 class, 98.93% of JNV students and 97.04% of KV students passed the exams.
The pass percentage in class 12 exams in public schools in Delhi is 96.29%, while it is 92.71% for public schools at pan-Indian level.
Notably, 160 public schools in Delhi have a passing percentage of 100% and 876 schools have a passing percentage of over 90%.
There has been an improvement in the performance of private schools in Delhi. While the passing percentage of private schools across India is 93.38%, the passing percentage of private schools in Delhi is 97.65%.
The government aided schools result was 94.57% with an increase of 7.27% from 2018-19 (pre-Covid).
