Port Adelaide are looking to continue their 2022 resurgence and secure some preliminary final revenge against a skipperless Western Bulldogs side tonight.

The Power (2-5, 94.6%) have won back-to-back games after their horrendous 0-5 start to the season and could have just one win outside the top eight at the end of this weekend.

The Bulldogs (3-4, 106%) have also been disappointing this year with scoring issues, and the absence of Marcus Bontempelli (managed) could spell trouble.

There were no late changes on either side. Lachie Jones and Hayden Crozier were the medical backups.

Much like last year’s preliminary final, the Dogs got off to a quick start to silence the crowd, scoring the opening goal through Lachlan McNeil after a lengthy score review.

A silky finish on the run from Bailey Smith followed in the next minute, the Power stalling as the Dogs fired.

The Power finally arrived on the board nine minutes into the term, with Robbie Gray scoring and converting.

Steven Motlop scored a goal shortly after following a deliberate out-of-bounds call as the Power leveled to within two points.

The match kicked off at 7.30pm EST from Adelaide Oval.

Watch it live on Fox Footy (channel 504) starting at 7 p.m. EST.
