By BBN staff: Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine their next decision regarding the body of a woman who was found yesterday in a house in Santa Elena.

Officers say they answered a call around 6:00 p.m. to find the woman lying face up in a room in an advanced state of decay. There was no immediately visible physical injury to the body. The woman was later identified as Ema Angelina Pat, 67.

The first investigations revealed that she was the guardian of the house and that she lived there alone. She was last seen alive by family members on November 30. His body was taken to the National Forensic Laboratory, where the autopsy will be performed.

This is a developing story.
