Raising reviews for Blackpool’s pizzeria tucked away behind the waterfront that was once a church


An Italian pizzeria inside an old church in Blackpool has received rave reviews for its ‘delicious’ food and ‘welcoming’ service.

Pizza Grazie on Bolton Street a few yards from the seafront has become the neighborhood restaurant everyone is talking about.

Besides the traditional Neapolitan style pizza, there are also many pasta dishes, desserts, sides, specialties and vegan-only menus.

Then, in addition to the food, the restaurant, which is a registered charity and opens as a soup kitchen twice a week, was praised for its support of the community, also running a ‘pay it forward’ program for the local homeless.

Diners have taken to TripAdvisor and Facebook in droves to shout about their positive experience at the restaurant, which has transformed the former United Reformed Church Alexandra with colorful interior and exterior decor and lighting.

On TripAdvisor, it is ranked fourth out of 449 restaurants in the beach town and has a five-star rating on Facebook, earning high marks on everything from cleanliness to value for money.

In their online review, Kimmy22222, described the food as “deliciously delicious” and the service “charming and friendly”.

As well on TripAdvisor, reviewer Ashleigh86charles said they “absolutely loved it” and “everything was delicious”

They added: “I also love the idea of ​​’pay it forward’ and we were happy to contribute to such a great cause. Thank you for a great night out and we will be back next time we are in Blackpool!”

On on Facebook, critical Louise Barton said: “Beautiful food and lovely guys running it so well we went back the next night would be 100% recommended keep up the great job you do.”

Kevin grant was happy that the restaurant was able to accommodate her last minute reservation for 15 people and all their needs, and Zoe Hayes says the place near the South Shore is a “great find”.

Pizza Grazie opens Thursday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m.
