TNPSC will hold Group II and Group IIA exams on May 21

The Tamil Nadu Civil Service Commission has decided to publish an online notification for the competitive examinations for Group II and Group II A posts on February 23, President Ka.Balachandran has said. The exam will take place on May 21. “The examination will take place in three stages – preliminary, main, interview. There are two ways to take this exam. For those who opt for English, there will be 100 English questions, 75 general knowledge questions and 25 aptitude questions. The total points will be 300. A candidate who scored less than 90 points will not qualify for the main exam. Vacancies include 116 interview positions and 5413 non-OT (oral test) positions. The results will be published in June. The main exam will take place for selected candidates in September. The consultation will take place in December and January 2023,” Balachandran said. Vacancies are expected to increase from 5413 to 500 to 1000. Up to 9 lakh candidates are expected to apply for the exam. More than 65,000 to 75,000 candidates are expected to be allowed to take the main exam,” Balachandran said.

In Group II posts, a total of 17 vacancies of Deputy Registrar in the Department of Registration, 19 vacancies in the posts of Deputy Labor Inspector in the Department of Labor, 58 vacancies in the posts of branch assistants special at the Police Department will be filled.
