Wendy Williams is said to be recovering after being rushed to hospital for a psychiatric assessment.

The 57-year-old host was voluntarily admitted to a New York City hospital last Tuesday (September 14) with psychiatric problems.

Wendy also recently tested positive for a “breakthrough case” of COVID-19, so doctors would be monitoring her physical health as well.

According to Wendy’s brother Tommy, the legendary talk show host is still recovering.

Tommy updated his YouTube channel in an article titled “WENDY WILLIAMS… WE ARE HERE ROOTED FOR YOU FIELD!” ! ! !

“I really believe and have faith that Wendy is going to be okay,” Tommy said. We were affected like other families. You know it’s not easy you have to dig yourself in, you have to keep the memories and we have some good ones.

She is fine. Stable. I spoke with her And we’re holding on. She’s hanging in there. We pray. She fights.

A source said Wendy Williams is currently “asymptomatic,” which means she has no symptoms of COVID.

It is not known at this point when the presenter will be discharged from the hospital, but Wendy’s mental health “continues to improve every day.”

Due to Williams’ health concerns, the premiere of the new season of “The Wendy Williams Show” has been postponed from September 20 to October 4.
