West Seattle Blog… | DEVELOPMENT: Four West Seattle projects to receive Southwest Design Review Board hearings next month
The city sent official notices today for the next Southwest Design Review Board hearings on two projects that we are tracking, both on November 4th, and the SWDRB schedule shows that two more projects are scheduled for a meeting two weeks later. All of them are projects that we have already reported on. Here is the schedule of meetings:
4406 36th SW: Second and possibly final meeting (here is our coverage of the first) for this project in the Triangle, described as “a 7 storey, 275 unit apartment building with shops (and parking) for 163 vehicles”. He will go to council at 5 p.m. on Thursday, November 4. Info to attend / comment during the meeting online, by video or by phone, is here.
3010 SW WAY AVALON: First SWDRB meeting for this “8-storey, 87-unit apartment building (with) parking for 4 vehicles”, 7:00 pm Thursday, November 4th. We have been reporting on this project for two years. Display / comment / call information for this meeting is here.
4440 FAUNTLEROY WAY SW: Second and possibly last meeting for this project (companion of 4406 36th SW, both on property owned by Alki wood‘s Sweeney family), described on the city’s website as a “7-storey, 217-unit apartment building with shops (and parking) for 153 vehicles.” 5 p.m. on November 18; here is our coverage of the first meeting. 4448 CALIFORNIA SW: This will be the second “initial design direction” meeting (here’s our coverage of the first one) for this project, “a 7-story, 96-unit apartment building with retail (and no parking).
